GenaShae’s House was born from a personal story—one marked by courage, challenges, and a deep desire to create change. At just 15, I found myself pregnant and still in high school. I believed I could be a good mother, but I quickly realized I lacked the tools, support, and guidance that could have helped me truly thrive—not just as a mom, but as a woman. By 21, I was married with four children, but the weight of limited resources—no emotional support, no financial guidance, no stable housing—was heavy. I knew then I never wanted another young mother to feel the fear, isolation, or overwhelm I once felt.

That’s why GenaShae’s House exists—to be the support system so many young moms are missing. Named after a blend of my daughters’ names, this mission is a legacy of love and transformation—for them, and for every mother trying to do her best without a village.

We serve pregnant women and mothers with children up to 24 months old by providing not only safe, stable housing but also holistic support: life skills coaching, parenting classes, financial literacy, educational and career development, and emotional support. Our vision is clear—to ensure every mother has what she needs to succeed.

Because when mothers thrive, their children do too—and that’s how we build stronger families and stronger communities.
